Software Test Engineer

About the Role:

• You will join Harmans internal software qualification team working on in-car software in the area of Telematics for our customers which are premium German car brands.
• Work is executed in collaboration with engineers from other centers of excellence at Harman as well as engineers from the respective car brands.

What You Will Do:

• Execute manual and automated functional tests in the automotive domain.
• Define test scenarios based on requirements.
• Monitor and report defects.
• Keep documentation up to date.

What You Need:

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in software testing.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies (manual and automated testing).
• Experience in designing and implementing test scenarios based on the guidelines and project documentation.
• University degree in IT/Engineering area.
• Ability to analyze user requirements and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with electronics/hardware.
• Experience with embedded systems.
• Basic knowledge of Linux system.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

What is Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of one of the programming or scripting languages (i.e., C#, Python, Bash).
• Experience in working with Agile methodologies.
• Experience related to telecommunication.
