Software Test Automation Engineer

Your new role 

As a Software Test Automation Engineer you will collaborate with an international team to support the design of timely, efficient and cost-effective software development through the creation of test scripts to facilitate automated testing of application software. 
Your responsibilities will include:

• Analysing software test cases for implementation in virtual environment
• Focusing on implementing and maintaining robust Python test automation scripts from defined test cases and integrating them into software build process
• Writing complex automated API tests which interface with upstream services or databases
• Maintaining the functional test portion of the Continuous Integration pipeline
• Developing and maintaining test scenarios and regression plans
• Taking accountability for developing and executing automated test cases in multiple test formats, like Sanity, Smoke, Integration and Regression tests for various software builds including dev, production-intent, and production builds in efficient turnaround times 
• Analysing the test results and creating defects in Polarion for identified problems 
• Working with developers to research failed cases, collect additional data from testing and debug software issues
• Providing ideas for improvements to the test environment

What you39ll need to succeed 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering or related engineering degree
• Knowledge of UI Automator and/or Robot Framework and solid experience in automating tests and scripting in Python
• Experience as Software Test Engineer, Software Developer or Software Development Engineering in Test
• Very good communication skills, both verbal and written in English language.
