Software Release Manager - AI/ML

Your Role

As a Software Release Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading the release cycles of ADAS features with a focus on machine learning and AI applications. This is not just a job; its an opportunity to shape the future of automotive technology. Your day to day will consist of the following:

1. Manage and Plan Software Releases: Plan and successfully execute the release cycles of AI/ML based ADAS features in a timely manner. Manage risks and resolve challenges that impact release scope, quality, and schedules.

2. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with software engineers, machine learning engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to release ADAS features seamlessly. Communicate clearly and effectively.

3. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align on the release plans of the ADAS features. Additionally, provide support after the release to track its integration and resolve potential issues.

4. AI and ML Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence, specifically in the context of ADAS applications would be beneficial. You will have the opportunity to overlook Aptivs ML-based ADAS stack.

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

• Masters or Ph.D. in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field

• Proven experience managing software release cycles, understanding priorities, and communicating with stakeholders (2 years or more)

• Understanding of ADAS/AD software and system architecture and related vehicle behavior and near development (2 years or more)

• Professional experience with AI and machine learning development would be beneficial

• Experience with Jira to track tasks, risks, and project progress

• Experience with C/C++, Python, and Pytorch

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for software releases

• Capability and willingness to act as a test driver for closed-loop feature development

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience in coordinating cross-functional work teams to task completion
