We are seeking a Software Quality Engineer position based in our Poznań location to join the Grodan team .

What you will be doing:

A Software Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards and fulfill both external and internal requirements. This includes tasks such as developing quality control processes, testing products to ensure they meet standards and specifications, and analyzing product defects or failures to improve product quality. Part of the job would be the management and developing of the test automation suite.

Software Quality Engineer frequently and closely collaborate with product development teams to incorporate quality considerations during the design and development stages. In our team, each Software Quality Engineer collaborates with a single development team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the e-Gro application meets all quality standards and is responsive and user-friendly by conducting rigorous testing and quality assurance.
  • Validate and oversee the quality of REST-based web services and APIs used by mobile and web platforms to ensure they meet required specifications and performance benchmarks.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance protocols for high-quality, scalable, and maintainable systems that use service-oriented architecture and micro-services.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX experts, and software and hardware engineers to integrate quality considerations when implementing new features.
  • Proactively recommend new quality-focused solutions or technologies to enhance the digital platforms performance and quality.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of modern quality assurance tools and best practices, including Agile quality management, test-driven development, unit testing, code reviews, and design documentation.

What you bring:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field (exchangeable for equivalent work experience).
  • Good command of the English language, both orally and in writing.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Experience with version control (GIT).
  • Experience with CD/CI application delivery (we use GitLab).
  • Experience in a cloud-based environment would be a plus (we use AWS).
  • Designing and implementing test cases and test scenarios for both manual and automated tests.
  • Workflow flexibility and strong teamwork skills.
  • 3+ years of experience in testing.
  • Experience in planning, implementing, and delivering tests for an online platform based on microservice architecture and cloud deployment.
