We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute manual, exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. The ideal candidate should be an open-minded engineer with a willingness to develop yourself and the ability to work with rather a complex system.

You will be cooperating with our global retail customers helping them to bring their instore experience to the next level using Diebold Nixdorf compelling and innovative POS software solutions. Our retail software solutions are enabling exciting customer experiences such as cashless checkouts and digital payments, self-service solutions or fully unattended stores.

Your responsibilities

  • Creating test cases and test reports based on test plan
  • Leading the test activities within the project
  • Create, update, maintain and execute API and UX tests
  • Create, maintain and improve test automation
  • Preparing clear, concise and comprehensive test concepts
  • Review and retest test failures and verify fixes
  • Report progress to the test manager
  • Deployment of new environments and updating existing environments
  • Participate in product planning and design
  • Collaborate with all product development teams
  • Setting up and maintaining test environments

Our requirements

  • At least 2 years’ experience as test engineer (including experience in test automation)
  • Strong QA methodology knowledge (ISTQB Foundation)
  • Excellent skills with documenting and troubleshooting errors (JIRA)
  • Knowledge of Test Automation
  • Basic knowledge of IT Infrastructure
  • Ability to writing technical documentation (Confluence)
  • Familiarity with different types of testing (regression, exploration, performance, E2E, FVT, penetration)
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle
  • Strong organizational skills and communication skills
  • Have ability to work in team
  • Good English communication skills (speaking and writing)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
  • API Testing: JMeter, Postman, Swagger
  • Knowledge of tools: Ranorex, XRay, GIT, Jenkins
  • Understanding Agile software development process
  • Analytical mind, interested in new technologies and not afraid of new challenges
  • Experience with contemporary quality approaches such as TDD (Test Driven Development) and BDD
  • Programming skills (preferred C#, JavaScript, PowerShell)
  • Knowledge of MS SQL and T-SQL scripts and procedures.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure)
