Job Description:

We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer , who will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of quality for our software and software-intensive products, especially in the area of networking and Wi-Fi/Mesh solutions.

Job location: Katowice ADB office

What will you do?

• Design, implement, and execute test plans and test cases based on requirements.
• Report on the status of tests and defects detected during testing.
• Prepare and configure test automation environment (we use an internal testing framework and external testing tools).
• Evaluate the testing process and make recommendations as necessary.
• Prepare technical documentation .
• Participate in knowledge sharing in your area of expertise.
• Collaborate with team members in Poland and Italy.
• Spend 2 working hours a week developing your skills.

Whats important for us?

• Work experience in the QA area: This job offer is aimed at independent professionals with about 3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of networking and/or broadband domain: Familiarity with networks, Wi-Fi, and Mesh, as well as terms like TCP, IP, IPv4, IPv6, WAN, xDSL, and xPON.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving skills, and detail orientation.
• Self-development orientation: We want to help you grow by giving you support and the opportunity to find your way to success!
• Knowledge of English and Polish: ADB is an international company; English is our primary language, and the closest team communicates in Polish and English.

Additional skills that will be useful for this position:

• Knowledge or experience in test automation and tools like Spirent, QA Cafe, Jira.
• Knowledge of VoIP.
• Python scripting abilities.
• ISTQB and/or CCNA certification.
