Our partner, a leading multinational semiconductor company is looking for skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. In this role, youll apply your expertise in machine learning models, Bash shell, Python, PowerShell, and other scripting languages to enhance automation and optimize processes for advanced computer processors and related technologies.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your background in computer architecture, operating systems, statistics, and mathematics to develop innovative solutions. Your understanding of software quality and processes will ensure high standards in development and operations.

Software QA Engineer

• Review product and software requirements with engineering teams,
• Design, develop, and maintain tests for inference and machine learning software based on product requirements,
• Create and review test plans from microarchitectural specs,
• Monitor performance and power consumption across stack versions and hardware IPs, defining and tracking metrics,
• Research and implement verification methodologies to enhance automation and efficiency,
• Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams,
• Work in diverse environments, including Hypervisors, Containers, Linux, and Windows,
• Develop training materials on new features and testing methodologies,
• Stay updated on AI technologies, tools, and industry best practices.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field,
• 4+ years of relevant experience in Software Quality Assurence,
• Good command of English is a must,
• Strong programming skills in at least two of the following scripting languages: Python, Javascript, Bash, PowerShell,
• Strong understanding of applied machine learning using current ML Frameworks: Pytorch, Tensorflow, ONNX, CNTK, R, etc.; Exposure to C/C++, Go, Rust a plus,
• Good understanding of multi-core compute hardware and device driver fundamentals,
• Good knowledge of computer virtualization technologies: Hyper-V, KVM, LXC, Docker, K8, etc.,
• Good knowledge and experience working with OS SDK/developer tools in Linux, Windows,
• Agile approach to software development following SCRUM methodology (where applicable and required),
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail,
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment,
• Eligibility to work in Poland.

• Your salary will be highly correlated with your skills and mindset: from 16.000 up to 20.000+ gross PLN Employment Contract,
• Remote or Hybrid model of work: Mon and Fri on-line and Tue, Wed, Thu – in a comfortable office in Kraków.
