The Opportunity

We are seeking a Software Governance & Quality Specialist to define and drive initiatives to improve software quality in collaboration with the R&D product lines.

In this role, you will ensure that product quality specifications align with corporate and customer standards, while shaping QA/QC policies that support world‑class development practices. You will work independently with limited supervision, coach junior team members, and solve complex problems that impact multiple product lines.

This is a full‑time position based in Krakow, Poland, with the mission to ensure software quality throughout the entire development lifecycle – from requirements and design, through implementation, verification, and validation.

Your Background

  • Advanced knowledge in software quality assurance, software engineering, or a related field, typically gained through higher education and extensive professional experience. 
  • Proven experience leading QA/QC initiatives across complex software development environments. 
  • Very good understanding of test automation, static analysis, coding standards, and software lifecycle processes. 
  • Experience coaching junior professionals and managing cross-functional improvement initiatives. 
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and navigate complex technical problem‑solving. 
  • Very good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with development, testing, and product teams. 
  • A continuous improvement mindset with enthusiasm for modern tooling, processes, and engineering methodologies.
