Join us to work with talents from different geographical locations in the world class Global FX Calculations team to develop, improve and maintain the banks own solution and platform for post-trading risk and PnL calculation which plays a critical role in traders day-to-day activity and the banks fulfilling to regulatory requirements.

What you need to have to succeed in this role

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including leading technical delivery teams.
• Strong hands-on expertise in modern Java (backend), with RESTful APIs, microservices, HTTPS, and messaging systems (e.g., MQ).
• Proven track record in delivering scalable, high-performance, and highly available backend systems using relational databases.
• Experience in FICC (Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities) or related financial domains is a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and tools, with a focus on continuous improvement and team development.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate across global teams.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, sound decision-making, and resilience under pressure.
• Self-motivated, curious, and passionate about technology, with a proactive and collaborative working style.

Nice to have:

• Experience in high-volume data processing and compute, ETL pipelines and distributed compute systems.
• Domain knowledge in banking - trade life-cycle and post trade processing for financial investment products, especially FICC.
• Experience in no-SQL or Columnar DB.
• Experience in building service on cloud (especially GCP).

,[Communicate with business users to identify and refine requirements and translate them into specified project deliverables., Act as the owner of projects / initiatives, define delivery roadmap based on solutions, and remove blockers to ensure technical solutions are delivered per agreed timeline with high quality., Work hands-on, to design, build and support technical solutions / platforms with the delivery team, estimated split will be 80/20 hands-on programming and coaching / mentoring., Support production and incident reaction as part of the global team., Coach and mentor team members to build a high performing technical delivery team. You will use your extensive soft skills in order to track, align and motivate delivery leads and developers, but also encourage them to raise risks early, expose their views on technical decisions and coordinate with rest of the regions in a follow-the-sun model.
