Your role and responsibilities

Are you a Content Designer with a passion for transforming functions and information into visually compelling and desirable experiences? We are seeking a talented individual experienced in communicating intent and meaning through user documentation that inspires action. Responsibilities include:

1. User-Centric Content Design: Interpret research insights and build an understanding of the subject matter to design for user needs and market resonance.
2. Nuanced Communication through Design Elements: Communicate intent and meaning through nuanced use of color, tone, layout, composition, imagery, typography, interactions, and motion.
3. Translating Information into Compelling Technical Documentation: Translate information into forms that make it compelling, easier to understand, and actionable.
4. Collaboration in Agile Environment: Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams of product managers, engineers, and designers in an agile environment to define strategies and inspire the creation of best-in-class design patterns.
5. Team Culture Cultivation: Foster a healthy, collaborative, and trusting team culture. Feel comfortable giving and receiving feedback and asking for direction when needed.

Additional Responsibilities (for Senior or Leadership Role):

1. Workload Management: Scope workload and plan for timely delivery of design projects.
2. Strategic Implementation: Define and implement strategies to accomplish the design vision and mission, communicating effectively across the organization.

Required technical and professional expertise:

• Excellent writing skills with strong research skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to teamwork.
• A volunteer spirit with a ‘we succeed as a team’ attitude.
• Ability to work in an agile environment with dynamic schedules and priorities.

Preferred technical and professional experience:

• Markup languages (such as DITA XML, Markdown, HTML) and authoring tools (Oxygen).
• Creating topic-based information that meets audience requirements.
• Embedded user assistance.
