Job Details: Software Engineering Team Lead

We are looking for a Software Engineering Team Lead to work with a cross-functional Agile development team to deliver new product user stories for our global regulatory reporting service and application.

You will lead a team of engineers and business analysts, driving the delivery of the product backlog and managing the technical backlog. This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders, including product managers, cloud operations, architects, and other agile teams.

As an Engineering Team Lead, you will need to understand software delivery processes, be highly analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on delivering projects on time and to a high standard.

Please note that this role is hybrid and will require you to work 3 days a week from our Katowice office.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead a team of 11 software engineers and 2 BAs based in Katowice and Barcelona, developing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality technical solutions with accountability for assigned functions, features, and services.
2. Participate in all project lifecycle phases while maintaining documentation to detail logic, coding/configuration, testing, and changes as needed.
3. Provide production environment support with your team while continuously improving existing products, systems, and services.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in leading engineering teams.
2. Strong background in building services and APIs with Java (preferred) or .NET on Azure.
3. Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
4. Experience working in Agile environments.
5. Skilled at interpreting and gathering user requirements, then translating them into technical specifications or code.
