About the project

The Embedded Competency Center is an organizational unit of Sii, that brings together over 500 specialists in the field of embedded systems. Currently, we are looking for a Software Engineer with HMI/Kanzi experience to join our team. In this position, you will work for one of our clients in the Automotive industry.

Your responsibilities

Contributing to the development of next-generation automotive infotainment systems (IVI)
Designing Human-Machine Interface (HMI) solutions
Implementing and optimizing the product
Ensuring seamless integration with vehicle systems
Using the Kanzi framework in a project
Debugging by using relevant tools
Working on system architecture and features pertaining to automotive camera-based computer vision applications
Creating intuitive, visually compelling, and high-performance user interfaces that enhance the driver and passenger experience

Our requirements

Experience with HMI development for Cockpit (Cluster/Infotainment) using Kanzi
Good knowledge in optimization of application boot-up time and performance such as Frozen frames, Slow rendering issues, crashes, and ANRs
Strong programming skills in C/C++/Java/Python
Familiarity with system architecture and features pertaining to automotive camera-based computer vision applications
Proficiency in Automotive SOCs and Microcontrollers and operating systems like Linux, Android, QNX
Experience with communication network protocols like CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UART, SPI and with SCM tools such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, JIRA
Knowledge of debugging using relevant tools such as GDB, JTAG-Debugger, BDI, Lauterbach, ADB, logs
Expertise in Functional Safety and SPICE processes
