We are looking for a professional who will collaborate with our client- a Finnish telecommunications and digital services provider serving over 2.8 million customers. Currently, the client is focused on transforming and modernizing its legacy environment. The client is primarily seeking a candidate with strong experience in React and TypeScript, who is also comfortable working with Java and/or willing to transition to Go. The existing legacy systems are written in Java, while all new development is being implemented in Go, so openness to reskilling is essential. All teams work on a shared codebase, which requires a collaborative and quality-focused engineering mindset. Working hours: 9:00–17:00 CEST (Europe-based team) Engagement: Full-time, long-term Work mode: 100% remote Your responsibilities Developing frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure solutions. Taking full ownership of features from design through production deployment. Actively contributing to the development and maintenance of a shared codebase, with a strong focus on quality and scalability. Supporting ongoing cloud migration initiatives and system simplification efforts. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to better understand system architecture and business context. Our requirements At least 5 years of experience with TypeScript/React. Hands-on, commercial experience with Java or Golang. Some knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker. Optional Knowledge of AWS and GitHub Actions. A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative field.
