responsibilities :
Demonstrates relevant technical working knowledge to understand requirements.
Designs and develops enhancements and modifications to existing software. Guides the development of code that adheres to design specifications and meets security best practices.
Proactively proposes automation solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of systems and tools. Supports the development and implementation of new automation, identifying investments that will yield the greatest efficiencies.
Engages with product engineering teams and product owners by leading code/design reviews, hosting regular meetings, and participating in on-call rotations and incident responses throughout the product development and operations cycles.
Utilizes backend technical expertise on underlying systems/platforms analyses across teams to propose scalable improvements in code, processes, and designs, with a focus on customer and business objectives.
Design code and systems that touch 40% of the world population while influencing Visa’s internal standards for scalability, security, and reusability.
Collaborate multi-functionally to create design artefacts and develop best-in-class software solutions for multiple Visa technical offerings.
Actively contribute to product quality improvements, valuable service technology, and new business flows in diverse agile squads.
Develop robust and scalable products intended for a myriad of customers including end-user merchants, b2b, and business to government solutions.
Focus on payments security.
Leverage innovative technologies to build the next generation of Payment Services, Transaction Platforms, Real-Time Payments, and Buy Now Pay Later Technology.

requirements-expected :
10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 8years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
Strong Knowledge and experience to develop backend using Java and SpringBoot. Strong Knowledge and experience to develop backend using Java and SpringBoot (Kotlin experience valuable, willing to learn).
Deep Understanding of RESTful web-services and microservice architecture.
Expertise at API development, set of routines, protocols, and tools for building software applications that specify how platform components should interact.
Proficiency in writing maintainable code using TDD/BDD paradigms. Good understanding of clean code principles – SOLID, KISS, DRY, Clean Architecture.
Strong experience with Container Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with application development lifecycle, CI/CD
Understanding and practice related with secure connectivity (mTLS, Message Level Encryption, etc)
In plus: Knowledge about Encryption/Decryption method and tools (including HSMs).
