About the Product:

Currently, ELESTER is developing in the green energy market. ELESTER creates an innovative, multifunctional energy storage control system for supervision and management that will exceed the clients expectations. The system is to provide access to detailed information about the operation of energy storage and allows control of their elements. The system delivers unique functions for analysis and prediction, enabling effective management, optimizing maintenance costs and ensuring safety.

About the Role: 

Were looking for an experienced Software Engineer (Python) who will be part of our top talent engineering team. In this position, you will build great products, tackle intriguing challenges, and contribute to our engineering culture. We are currently building our core engineering team - after initial 6 month contract we are willing to offer long-term employment

 

 


Requirements:            

  1. 5+ years of professional experience in software/system development or engineering
  2. Proficiency in Python and SQL
  3. Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  4. Strong knowledge of Linux-based systems, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
  5. Solid understanding of REST APIs, relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), and modern development practices
  6. Ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary teams

Nice to have:

  1. Experience with timeseries data and TSDBs (e.g., TimescaleDB, InfluxDB)
  2. Knowledge of IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT), embedded systems, or field device integration
  3. Understanding of cybersecurity best practices, particularly in critical infrastructure
  4. Exposure to microservices architectures, messaging queues, and real-time data processing
  5. Background in data science, ML/AI, or control systems is a plus
  6. Basic knowledge of frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a bonus
