THE OPPORTUNITY:

At SalesLoft, our Software Engineers are pivotal to our company’s success. You will be a key member of our fast-growing and high-performing Engineering team working on new technologies in an environment that supports your technical and professional growth.

The specific pod youd join consists of full-stack and UI Engineers who are responsible for our Conversations product. Our new team in Poland will focus on developing new innovative features for the Conversations product, most notably, Saleslofts first-ever Zoom app for enhanced conversation intelligence functionality. Utilizing a tech stack of Node.js and TypeScript for the backend, and React for the frontend, our development efforts are divided with a focus on backend scalability and frontend responsiveness.

Working with amazing colleagues who exemplify our ‘team over self’ core value, we will have the opportunity to create impactful software that is changing the way sellers sell.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a high-performing individual contributor who can accomplish complex tasks with little direction, design and develop solutions for our team’s roadmap work, and collaborate well across delivery teams. You will participate in support channels, provide technical support on key customer calls, and mentor team members.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:

• Guiding planning and grooming sessions
• Documenting best practices and methodologies
• Reviewing team members code
• Ensuring quality across the software development lifecycle
• Holding the bar for system testability, observability, and maintainability
• Reviewing metrics, identifying issues, and improving performance of our applications
• Providing ongoing production support and contributing to incident reviews

THE SKILL SET:

• 3+ years of experience building large-scale web applications
• Experience in an environment like AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Postgres, ElasticSearch, and Kafka.
• Hands-on experience in designing, building, and deploying scalable systems
• Experience with giving and receiving feedback
• Passion for implementing code and debugging complex issues
• Positive, empathetic, and team-oriented; must have the ability to collaborate well with all departments

WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL:

• Attend SalesLoft’s New Hire Orientation
• Attend the half-day introduction to Salesloft Engineering
• Begin 1:1’s with your manager and understand your 30-60-90 plan
• Set your OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) with your manager
• Regularly commit production code

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:

• Be knowledgeable of your team’s surface area
• Take significant ownership for developing a new feature

WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:

• Be a major contributor to team planning and execution
• Mentor support engineers on engineering practices
• Achieve the results defined in your first set of OKRs
