Software Engineer, Macro Front Office Technology

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will be responsible for building services, applications and workflows required to develop best-in-class analytics for the team’s stakeholders. The focus will be primarily on, but not limited to, analytics for P&L and risk. Specifically, you will:

1. Develop P&L and risk analytics for new and existing financial products and integrate these into a range of downstream systems, including user interactive tools and official risk P&L and risk systems.
2. Engineer robust and scalable workflows, and, where required, integrate third-party components spanning vendor systems, cloud technology, and data engineering platforms.
3. Provide prompt support and a high level of service to all downstream consumers.
4. Proactively drive efficiency across Macro BAU processes to improve the overall quality and efficiency of daily technology operations.

WHAT’S REQUIRED

We are looking for a highly skilled software engineer with strong coding abilities, rigorous mathematical problem-solving skills, and experience in P&L and risk systems or in another front office development capacity.

1. Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, engineering, finance, or a related field.
2. Proficiency in the following programming languages: C#, SQL, Python.
3. 5+ years of experience in finance, specifically in a P&L and risk systems or another Front Office development capacity.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills that can convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
5. A commitment to the highest ethical standards.
