The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Googles various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our users interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
responsibilities :
Participate in the full cycle of development from an idea through design, implementation, testing to exposing features to end users.
Collaborate with multiple teams inside Google (e.g., Product Management, User Experience, Identity, Product Security, Customer Support, feature development teams, Database Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering).
Contribute to the multi-year effort of integrating the software stack with Google Production systems and partner subscription life-cycle management solutions.
Ensure appropriate test automation and coverage for developed features to ensure high quality at scale.
Contribute to processes, testing, automation, products, and business growth.
requirements-expected :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
2 years of experience with iOS application development.
