Your responsibilities

  • Participate in the full cycle of development such as design to implementation and testing of carbon footprint data pipelines, reporting, predictions, carbon reduction recommendations.
  • Participate in monitoring and debugging efforts as on-call (e.g., during business hours).
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
  • Improve and optimize the carbon calculation methodology.

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python), or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience in data engineering, building and maintaining large datasets and pipelines.

Optional

  • 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience with SQL pipelines and BigQuery.
  • Familiarity with carbon accounting or energy data.
