Cluster Management (Borg) team is responsible for critical software that configures and runs Google data centers.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, implement, and troubleshoot large-scale computer systems.
  • Work with teammates to redesign and refactor existing systems to improve its performance and scalability.
  • Improve existing and create new performance tests to verify the quality of our changes and prevent regressions.
  • Analyze data and metrics to find potential optimization and improvement of resource efficiency.
  • Maintain production systems which involves feature rollouts, reliability monitoring, integration testing, on-call support etc.
