We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a Tietoevry Health Suite development team. Our activities are directed to supporting the citizen-oriented parts of the healthcare system manufactured by Tietoevry and they include analysis, design, development, testing, maintenance and release tasks. You will have opportunities to maintain well-known Tietoevry software solutions and participate in creating new ones. You will directly participate in the full implementation life cycle, working in the Scrum Agile methodology. The work is going to be performed in a hybrid mode, giving the opportunity to work either from the office or from home, according to the agreed schedule.

Who we are looking for:

  • You are living in (or in a close vicinity of) Szczecin, Wroclaw, or Warsaw.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in the software development role creating web-based applications.
  • You are a person with confidence to take over responsibility and ownership.
  • You have a good practical experience of programming using the .Net Standard/.Net Core and ASP.NET frameworks using the C# programming language, adhering to the widely accepted programming principles and standards.
  • You consider the testing as a natural component of the development flow, both in terms of creating unit/integration tests as well as executing the manual tests in the test environments.
  • You are familiar with web services (REST, SOAP) and know how to develop, deploy and test them using IIS as a host.
  • You have a good understanding of T-SQL and can create scripts updating our MS SQL databases. You can use the Entity Framework in C# to access and use the databases.
  • You have the right personality to work together in a team, learn from your peers and pass on what you’ve learned to others.
  • You have a flexible and responsible personality with a positive attitude and willingness to learn more.

Nice to have skills:

  • You understand the service broker functionality in MS SQL Server and the CLR integration.
  • You have basic experience with Angular, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
  • You are familiar with Agile methodologies.

What’s in it for you?

With us you will be part of the important and meaningful work of developing healthcare for all of us. You have an important mission to make a difference that really matters. In addition, as a company we offer you professional growth, open and friendly culture, and an outstanding work-life balance! We believe that our organizational culture is an important part of enabling you to be successful. We provide a flexible hybrid work model as part of our culture and way of working.

Finally, we also believe in curiosity and learning as a lifestyle. We want to encourage you to keep up that curiosity and deepen your knowledge on topics you’re interested in. For example, we host a ‘Keep Learning Week’ once a year, a week where everyone at Tietoevry has the possibility to join different training courses in a truly global setting.

Could you be our new colleague?

We look forward to hearing from you! We will fill the position as soon as we find the right person, so we encourage you to apply today. If you have any questions regarding this role, please contact the hiring manager Tomasz Lisowski:
