Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer / Data Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications and data pipelines. This role requires strong programming abilities, experience in API development, and expertise in data management to support our growing portfolio of applications and data processing needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features and ensure optimal application performance.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using .NET Framework, C# or Python, and SQL.
  • Develop and maintain APIs to support various application functionalities.
  • Design and implement data pipelines for efficient data processing and transformation.
  • Utilize data frameworks to manage and process large datasets.
  • Perform data transformations to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and optimize code.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation standards.
  • Continuously explore, evaluate, and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency.


Core Skills Required:


  • Proficiency in .NET Framework and C# or strong programming skills in Python.
  • Extensive experience with SQL and database management.
  • Proven experience in service API development.
  • Hands-on experience with data pipelining, data frameworks, and data transformations.
  • Familiarity with data pipelining tools, such as Apache Airflow, Apache NiFi, or Azure Data Factory.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preferred Skills:


  • Experience with Databricks.
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
