Your Tasks

1. Design, develop, test and maintain applications and services to achieve the stated business and technology goals within required budgets and timelines.
2. Oversee the quality of work.
3. Ensure that your work meets the technical standards for all services output.
4. Design and develop reusable libraries and application programming interfaces for use across the bank.
5. Design and develop software that is amenable for greater automation of build, release testing, and deployment processes in all environments.
6. Support the reuse and sharing of platform components and technologies within the software engineering teams.
7. Deliver software components to enable the delivery of platforms, applications, and services.
8. Write unit and integration tests in automated test environments to ensure code quality.

What We Expect

1. Programming skills in Java language.
2. Experience with Spring Boot framework.
3. Background in software engineering, software design, or database design and architecture.
4. Experience of developing software in a SOA or micro-services environment.
5. Experience in test-driven development using automated test frameworks and mocking, stubbing, and unit testing tools.
6. Experience of deployment in any cloud.
7. Awareness of exposing data and functions using APIs.
8. Knowledge of the key phases of the software delivery lifecycle and established software development methodologies.
9. Experience in an environment where products must be delivered to specific timescales.
10. Understanding of how to translate product and business requirements into technical solutions.
