Start Date: ASAP / Within 1 Month / Flexible Work Model: hybrid (2 days per week - office in Warsaw) Contract Type: B2B (130-150 PLN/h VAT) We are looking for a Software Engineer with experience in C and Linux to join the team developing and maintaining our OSS application, BECS. This role focuses primarily on maintenance, troubleshooting and improving an established platform used within the telecom domain. Expectations Min. 2-3 years of experience in a similar software engineering role Strong programming skills in C and working experience with Linux‑based systems . Nice to have: experience in at least one scripting language: Python, Perl or TCL (not required but can be learned on the job). Ability to write maintainable code, participate in code reviews and contribute to testing processes. English - min. B2 Responsibilities Contribute to the software development of the BECS OSS platform through requirement analysis, design and implementation. Perform maintenance activities, debugging and investigation of trouble reports related to existing system components. Execute security impact assessments and ensure that implemented changes follow secure development standards. Develop, test and document code in alignment with internal guidelines and review processes. Collaborate closely with the engineering team in Warsaw and distributed teams to support smooth delivery and continuous improvement.
