responsibilities :
Allegro’s development teams boast more than 1700 IT experts solving problems at a unique scale and complexity. However, if you join us, you’ll be joining a specific team that operates like a small, agile startup within our large organization.
Our team is strongly Developer Experience (DevEx) driven, focusing on the core tools and components that powers Allegros software delivery lifecycle. We maintain the very heartbeat of our development process: from managing a massive selfhosted runners cluster and administrating Github enterprise to building tools that define how we build and release code. We are looking for a Software/DevOps Engineer who enjoys the intersection of software engineering and infrastructure, ensuring that our SDLC is fast, reliable, and scalable.
We are a versatile team with diverse competencies, handling everything from our own Java/Kotlin microservices (backed by MongoDB) to maintaining a central library that serves as the essential bridge between developers and our infrastructure. We are passionate about our internal users - the dozens of engineers who rely on our tools every day - and we work closely with them to ensure that CI/CD processes, from the first line of code to final deployment, are a seamless experience. You’ll be joining a group where you can have a direct, daily impact on how hundreds of releases are handled across the company.
