For a client of a French-Italian-American automotive concern we are looking for a person to fill the position of Software engieer (C++).

What we expect

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• 6 to 9 years of programming experience in a professional environment
• Software development experience in one or more high level programming languages and frameworks (Languages: Java, C++, Node.JS, Python)
• Minimum of 6 years of experience with navigation systems including client/server and Internet Technologies
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the fields of Cloud Technology
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in the field of Automotive Navigation
• Customer focused mind set to create outcomes that matter
• Excellent analysis skills, problem solving and organization skills
• Passionate about delivering high quality solutions
• Self-starter, strong sense of ownership, gets things done mentality
• Capable of taking decisions in time, while dealing with uncertainties and incomplete information
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Exhibit flexibility, prioritization and the ability to multitask
• Good team player and work well with people from different nationalities and sites
• Experience working with a global teams including supporting global time zones and be able to work with multiple suppliers

Your tasks

• Own the software architecture and technical designs for components of the Connected Navigation system within your own team and architect them for scalability, reliability, testability and performance
• Solve complex problems in a scalable way, working closely with stakeholders from the business and our partners
• Provide technical leadership and expertise to the team to enable delivery of features and system components
• Understand requirements between systems and be able to translate them into well-balanced technical designs that can be implemented in an iterative approach enabling for agility
• Deliver a best in class operational excellence by implementing observability (e.g. alerting, metrics) as a first class and support in the creation of operational artifacts (e.g. post mortems, playbooks)
• Build scalable, highly available and resilient applications based on the best cloud stack and languages that suit the business the most
• Enable the individual growth of members of your team and beyond by supporting in onboarding, mentoring and team moderations
