About the project

Join a high-impact, international team working on a strategic software architecture project for a global client in the data center and infrastructure management (DCIM) space. You will be the most senior technical expert on the project, collaborating with architects and engineers in Poland, the US, and Canada.

Your responsibilities

Analyze business and product requirements to design scalable software solutions.
Lead system and component architecture, collaborating with enterprise architects and junior architects.
Oversee and participate in the design of features and modules, providing technical leadership and mentorship.
Develop scripts and code (primarily in Java) for features and modules; participate in peer reviews and drive SDLC improvements.
Define and drive automation, DevOps, and infrastructure provisioning strategies.
Develop unit tests, test strategies and recommend testing frameworks.
Take accountability for design reviews, deliverables, and operational SLAs.
Investigate and evaluate new technologies, influencing technical direction and innovation.
Provide technical project management support, including effort estimation, scheduling, and release planning.
Work closely with cross-domain teams, including engineering, product management, and business analysts.

Our requirements

Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Systems Architect, or Principal Software Engineer.
Strong engineering background with expertise in solution architecture.
Proficiency in Java and experience coding in Java.
Experience with Kafka or similar streaming frameworks (Flink is a plus).
Solid understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform is a strong plus.
Ability to work independently as the most senior technical member of the team.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with international teams.
Located in Poland and be able to visit the Warsaw office once or twice per quarter.
Availability to attend occasional meetings after 5pm due to collaboration with US-based teams.
