What You’ll Do

1. Participate as a quality ambassador, engineer, and eyes of the customer as a member of an agile software development team
2. Identify creative ways to uncover and report defects as well as validate solutions
3. Ensure that Kaseya’s products are of the highest quality
4. Hold the development & design teams accountable for measurable, testable acceptance criteria, and represent the ‘gate’ for our Agile milestones.
5. Build detailed test specifications (functional, environments, resources) that transition into test strategies for existing and new features
6. Execute detailed test plans
7. Assist in reproducing bugs reported outside of QA and triaging them with Product Management
8. Establish repeatable and measurable test criteria for newly implemented functionality, and work closely with Product Management & Design to turn customer requirements into detailed use cases.
9. Participate in release processes for your assigned project
10. Maintain a dynamic, complex, and ever-changing test environment

About You

1. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems or Software Engineering; or equivalent work experience
2. 3+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance with the ability to read and understand code, and verify acceptance criteria (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.)
3. Proficient with Linux and familiar with shell scripting
4. Familiarity with Windows system administration
5. Experience with testing APIs (REST APIs, Postman, etc.)
6. Experience working in an agile environment.
7. Knowledge of testing methodologies and concepts
8. Excellent troubleshooting, debugging and problem-solving skills.
9. Experience with test frameworks such as Pytest, Selenium, Playwright, etc.
10. Strong written and verbal communication skills
11. Experience with software configuration management and version control (GitLab a plus)
