We are currently looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test to join our Banking-as-a-Service team in the UK. In this role, you will work directly with clients and internal teams to define and implement testing strategies, principles, and best practices to ensure exceptional user experiences.
responsibilities :
Deep expertise in test methodologies and tools, including automated test frameworks, mocking, stubbing, and modern testing tools
Hands-on technical experience with proficiency in Java, back-end test automation frameworks, and integrating these into continuous deployment pipelines
Specialist knowledge in performance and security testing, with experience in software performance testing, automated security testing techniques, and associated tooling
Proven ability to lead and guide Quality Engineers to define and achieve goals
Strong experience in Agile team collaboration, delivering and testing distributed microservices as part of an agile development team.

Leading our quality chapter comprised of SDETs and QAs, alongside an Engineering Manager
Facilitating and setting best practices and tools
Collaborating to create a roadmap to maintain a high level of quality across the business, with a specific focus on APIs and testing a scaled microservices stack
Mentoring SDETs and QAs
Enabling continuous improvement of quality across the business
Strategic involvement in key initiatives where quality expertise is required (hands-on approach)
