STAR is our strategic platform for generating and delivering risk factor definitions, historical market data and scenarios for Value at Risk and Expected Shortfall calculations. STAR is built using a microservices architecture that combines both real-time and batch processes operating on large volumes of data.
responsibilities :
The STAR development team, which sits within the Global Traded Risk Technology department, is looking for talented software engineers with a strong Java background to join the team and assist with the on-going build out of the platform. Responsibilities will include:
Design and development of solutions based on user stories in the project’s backlog.
Contribute to architecture designs and decisions.
Review other team members’ solutions.
requirements-expected :
Strong knowledge of Java 17
Spring: Spring Boot and core Spring API’s
Experience in designing and implementing REST APIs
Database technologies – Postgres preferable
DevOps & CI / CD technologies: Jenkins, Git
Application development using GCP technologies
