We are seeking a Software Developer (Python + AI) to join our client, a leading company in consulting and digital transformation. You will join our growing team of four engineers. You"ll help us design, build, and deliver high-value data-driven use cases in 3-month development cycles. Our work combines data engineering, applied data science, and the development of lightweight web applications to surface insights and enable intelligent workflows.

This role leans more toward data engineering, with a strong emphasis on building and hardening pipelines, while also touching on data science and AI application development. You will play a key part in advancing our Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture and related GenAI applications.

Project information:

• Location: Wroclaw, Poland
• Work Setup: 100% Remote work
• Rate: 160 PLN/net/h + VAT (B2B contract)
• Language: English (B2+ Required)
• Start date: depending on candidate availability

Project scope:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines (primarily in Python, PostgreSQL).
• Build and deploy small-scale web applications (Streamlit, Flask, or Django) to support internal and external use cases.
• Collaborate with the team to scope, prioritize, and deliver high-value use cases within each 3-month cycle.
• Develop and optimize RAG pipelines and GenAI applications, integrating LLMs and external data sources.
• Apply OCR and related technologies to extract structured information from unstructured documents.
• Contribute to the frontend of web apps to ensure usability and a smooth user experience.
• Stay current with the evolving ecosystem of Agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, CrewAI) and apply them in practice.

Requirements:

• Strong Python programming background with both data science and data engineering
• Hands-on experience with SQL (PostgreSQL preferred) for data access and manipulation.
• Practical experience deploying web applications (Streamlit, Flask, or Django).
• Familiarity with GenAI, NLP, and LLM-based applications.
• Knowledge of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Ability to work end-to-end across the stack: from data pipelines to web app frontends

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, etc.).
• Knowledge of OCR solutions for document digitization.
• Prior work in small, agile teams with fast iteration cycles.
