Where Do You Fit?

Nestled in our Automation and Control division, youll be on the wheel, steering product and tech innovations, and overseeing projects for Kongsberg Maritimes state-of-the-art Automation, Bridge Systems, and Electro solutions. Collaborate closely with our Systems Architects, SW developers, and Project Managers to guarantee smooth sailing on all projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. A key resource in defining architecture, design and support realization of SW.
  2. Establish a technical vision together with the Architect team, guiding the software development. This involves keeping up with current technological trends and innovations.
  3. Contributing to the development of the Software Architecture by providing innovative approaches, workflows, and technologies.
  4. Collaborate with teams of architects, developers, product owners, and managers while sharing and exploiting knowledge in cross-functional and globally distributed multi-disciplinary departments and projects.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Experienced SW developer with a strong interest in SW architecture.
  2. Knowledge in the use of modeling languages like SysML/UML and SW architecture frameworks.
  3. Good programming skills in one or more languages, preferably C++/C#.
  4. Good communication and collaboration skills.
  5. Knowledge of software production methods and technologies.
  6. Interest in Cyber Security.
