Social Media Video Editor (Performance & Brand)

We’re hiring a Social Media Video Editor to shape how Kensui looks, feels, and performs across short‑form content.

This is not a “cut clips and add captions” role.

This is an editor who understands why a video works — not just how to cut it.

You’ll turn strong ideas into scroll‑stopping creatives that drive attention, trust, and sales.

What You’ll Do

Short-Form Video Editing

• Edit high‑quality short‑form videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and paid ads


• Shape pacing, structure, and flow to maximize retention


• Add clean text overlays, subtitles, and motion where needed


• Maintain a consistent visual and tonal identity across all content

Creative Execution

• Turn raw footage, UGC, and briefs into polished, performance‑ready videos


• Assemble hooks, first‑frame moments, and rough cuts quickly


• Test variations (hooks, pacing, formats) to improve performance


• Collaborate with strategists, creators, and marketers to refine concepts

Content Systems

• Help develop repeatable editing styles and templates


• Organize files and workflows for fast turnaround


• Adapt edits for organic and paid placements

Who You Are

• You understand how editing influences attention and buying behavior


• You can explain why a video holds attention — in one sentence


• You care about pacing, rhythm, and clarity more than flashy effects


• You have taste — and can defend it


• You work fast without sacrificing quality

Required Experience

• Proven experience editing short‑form video for social or ads


• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts formats


• Experience working with creators, UGC, or marketing teams


• Ability to follow creative direction and improve it through execution

Tools & Skills

• Comfortable with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut (desktop)


• Able to:


• Cut fast, clean, retention‑focused edits


• Add subtitles, text, and simple motion


• Deliver rough cuts and final versions efficiently

Nice to Have

• Fitness or strength‑training background


• Paid ad editing experience




• Location: 1-minute walk from Rondo ONZ




• Hours: 40 hrs/week


• 30 hrs in office


• 10 hrs remote (flexible)
