SOC/SIEM INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST

Location: WROCŁAW

Type of Employment: Hybrid work, Full-time contract

Salary: 15000 – 25000 PLN gross

About the Company: Our Client is one of the largest airlines.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor alarms
2. Conduct security incident assessments
3. Analyze incidents related to firewalls (IDS, antivirus, etc.)
4. Analyze threat information and security vulnerabilities
5. Analyze reports
6. Modify and adjust SIEM rules to improve alerts and reduce false positives

Requirements:

1. Understanding of SOC information interpretation principles: incident identification/analysis, escalation procedures, and false alarm reduction
2. Experience in IT security monitoring and analysis, cyber threat analysis
3. Familiarity with Windows, Linux, Mac, and VM platforms
4. Experience with IDS/IPS, SIEM, etc.
5. Experience with SMTP, HTTP, and DNS
