Snr Analyst, Cyber Security Service Assurance
To work with Cyber Security PMO and Tech Finance to support business leads on all matters relating to contract and cost data. Drive spend analytics initiatives to assist management decisions and identify efficiencies. Identify opportunities to improve internal performance by optimizing processes and leveraging information technology to meet Cyber Security Office objectives. Perform business analysis activities to define needs and develop the benefits case for change or process improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Help Cyber Security Office meet the need for clear, accurate, and timely financial and business information on projects.
- Prepare and publish monthly reports to CSO stakeholders to show costing progress – plan budget, prepare forecasts, track financials, and manage operational budgets.
- Pull data from repositories; support business information systems and create dashboards.
- Ensure commercial transactions are managed effectively and timely – include payments, purchase orders, cross‑charging, etc.; address any issues.
- Provide financial analysis expertise and insight into the development of strategies.
- Manage key vendors within CSO – participate in regular commercial performance reviews, monitor contract alignment, raise related risks or issues, and ensure proper escalations.
- Look for improvements and efficiencies in day‑to‑day reporting by automating processes where possible.
Basic Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Analyst or Controlling Specialist in Business/Finance or similar.
- Fluent English and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced functionalities.
- Ability to produce clear and concise management reports.
- Attention to detail and analytical review skills; logical approach to validate data against expectations.
- Ability to navigate multiple systems and collaborate across departments.
- Familiarity with financial processes (Purchase to Pay, month‑end processes, reporting, budgeting & planning).
- Team worker who can build trusting, productive relationships across diverse backgrounds within the Cyber Security Office.
- Power BI skills are an advantage.
