Offer is in hybrid form with 3 days of work from Warsaw office.
Your focus will be on collecting large amounts of data using analytical, statistical, and programmable skills. It is their responsibility to use data to develop solutions tailored to meet the organisations unique needs.
responsibilities :
Configure and maintain Snowflake environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Participate in design discussions with Architects, Security teams Development teams Provide hands on Database administration and support of the Snowflake platform.
Design and implement Snowflake security models.
Identify and implement Snowflake monitoring and maintenance best practices.
Develop and implement Snowflake incident management processes and procedures.
Diagnose and resolve Snowflake issues and errors.
Manage Snowflake ecosystem with a primary focus of supporting Enterprise Snowflake databases and associated tools in the data ecosystems.
Provide release management guidance and support for Snowflake-based system and application objects.
Interact with cross-functional teams, project managers and agile teams to estimate development efforts and ensure complete delivery of solutions and fulfilling requirements.
Manage user access and roles, ensuring secure and appropriate data access.
Monitor system health and performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
Optimize data storage and query performance through tuning and best practices.
Implement and enforce security policies, including data encryption and access controls.
Support data engineering and analytics teams in leveraging Snowflake for enterprise data solutions.
Automate routine administrative tasks using scripts and orchestration tools.
Ensure scalability and high availability of the Snowflake platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align Snowflake usage with business goals.
Stay updated with Snowflake and Databricks features, recommending improvements and upgrades.

Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing Snowflake databases.
Experience in query performance tuning and resource optimization.
Knowledge of data security best practices and compliance regulations.
Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cost management.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database issues efficiently.
Experience with ETL processes and data integration workflows.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
