Cloud Platform Engineers are a key link between Kyndryl and our clients. You’re in a technical leadership role, uniting and guiding stakeholders from clients, governance, and project executives to delivery and sometimes even the vendors who work with the client. You’ll be there from the start of a project — understanding what’s needed and figuring out the best technical solution. And you’ll be there at the finish, delivering the right product on time and within budget.
As an Cloud Platform Engineer, you’ll draw upon the full breadth of your talent and experience. This is a technical leadership role, so we want you to bring your vision, knowledge, and leadership to each project. To the client, you’re the subject matter expert – consulting early, gathering inputs, understanding what they need from our solution. You define what Kyndryl can do to meet this solution. You design the best solution for the job. And finally, you’re the tech leader for implementation.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with customers to evaluate their current IT landscape and develop a cloud strategy that aligns with business objectives
Partner with executives to define and drive business growth strategies through technology transformation
Identify new business opportunities and provide insights on market trends and cloud adoption
Deliver C-level presentations and executive briefings on cloud transformation strategies
Demonstrate a consultative selling approach and achieve the organizations cloud sales targets
Develop client proposals that align with business and technology goals
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create high-impact transformation points of view (POVs) that guide client decision-making
Draft Statements of Work (SOWs) and define project deliverables

Required technical skills and experience:
Proven experience in client collaboration involving IT landscape evaluation and strategies development
Ability to integrate our solutions on cloud transformation & modernization, platform engineering & operations, hybrid IT ops and observability
Extensive knowledge of Azure or Google Cloud proven with area-specific certification of high level
Strong understanding and deep hands-on experience with Hyperscaler specific services relevant to Modernization of Applications and Infrastructure, FinOps, Platform Engineering, Observability
Ability to understand Customer pain points, design and recommend hyperscaler specific / hybrid cloud solutions
Ability to deliver C-level presentations and executive briefings on cloud transformation strategies
Experience in sales activities including development of client proposals, SOWs drafting and defining project deliverables
