SME Analyst (f/m/d) role at Axpo Group. Axpo is driven by a single goal – delivering a sustainable future through innovative energy solutions. It is a leading producer of renewable energy in Switzerland and an international leader in energy trading, with activities in more than 30 countries across Europe, North America, and Asia. Axpo Polska has been operating in the Polish market for over 20 years, employing about 260 people, and is a major independent offtaker of green energy. The company offers energy and gas products based on structured, long-term contracts and serves more than 25,000 companies in Poland, with energy from renewable sources since April 2020 and involvement in large-scale photovoltaic projects.
Currently we are looking for: SME Analyst (f/m)
Responsibilities
- Produce and validate PnL bridges and management commentary.
- Execute daily, weekly and monthly predefined sets of controls.
- Monitor data flows between front, middle and reporting systems; assess completeness, timeliness, and accuracy.
- Triage incidents (e.g., data freezes or gaps) with data and technology teams; drive end-to-end resolution and tracking.
- Coordinate teams to implement new or changed data flows when products or processes evolve.
- Coordinate teams to reduce manual touchpoints and drive automation for legacy items.
Our requirements
- Master’s Degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or Economics.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python/R and dashboarding tools (e.g., Power BI).
- 3-5+ years in a quantitative, data science or analyst role.
- Experience in banks or trading houses (energy or commodities) would be a strong plus.
- Comfortable in a cross-functional environment and collaboration with Risk, Finance, Operations, and IT.
- Hands-on experience with ETRM systems would be a plus (Endur).
- Clear, concise communicator—able to turn complex movements into crisp commentary.
