Technology Sourcing Procurement Manager with German
Location: Wrocław / Katowice – 2 days in office / 3 days remote.
This role is part of EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Poland, within the global EY Business Enablement, Supply Chain Services network. As a SmartBuy – Technology Procurement Team member you will work on sourcing projects across 9+ GDS locations, contributing to the organization’s purpose of shaping the future with confidence.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Support and execute end-to-end strategic sourcing activities, providing excellence throughout the process – analyzing information, identifying requirements and opportunities, negotiating terms and conditions, and contracting products and/or services.
- Act as a trusted business advisor to EY stakeholders, align projects with the business pipeline and provide exceptional customer service while delivering brand and quantitative value through cost savings, cost avoidance, and contract value realization.
- Work with senior stakeholders and Global Procurement (GP) team members to support a category strategy that aligns with the overall global strategy.
- Collaborate with Risk Management and Vendor Assurance to minimize contractual risks and demonstrate year-on-year improvement in quantitative value.
- Develop relationships with key EY business stakeholders and report category insights and progress via regular meetings.
- Socialize and facilitate the Procurement and Supply Chain Global Policy and processes, ensuring project teams understand the of the policy and adhere accordingly.
- Drive an inclusive and sustainable sourcing mindset to build a better working world.
- Support the collection of knowledge of key suppliers and their market positions, leveraging current market intelligence resources and partners to perform the latest research.
- Provide accurate reporting on deals and timely submission of savings forms as required.
- Manage and support Requests for Proposals (RFPs), including commercial contractual negotiations and working closely with other business partners such as Legal (GCO), Global Client Serving Partners, Sector Leaders, etc.

- Strong negotiator and influencer capable of supporting leadership in driving alignment with key senior stakeholders and leaders.
- Knowledge and interest in the Technology category with an understanding of Software, Hardware, IT Managed services and IT Professional services.
- Ability to drive changes by building strong, trusting relationships with senior stakeholders and business partners.
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently manage and prioritize workload.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and have an appetite for change and learning.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Procurement in a collaborative, high-performance environment and a minimum of 3+ years of experience within the Technology Procurement category.
- Demonstrated proficiency in both oral and written communication in English and German.
- Experience in Procurement in a collaborative, high-performance environment and experience with the Technology Procurement category.
- Strong procurement expertise and commercial acumen to drive sourcing and demand management strategies across a broad array of category services.
- Ability to align efforts with key stakeholders and influence these leaders, as necessary, and possess a global mindset.
- Managing and reporting sourcing projects with experience in some e‑RFx/Auction tool and execution of online Rfx and e‑Auctions.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills converting data into decision‑quality information and using it strategically to drive successful outcomes.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Bachelor’s or higher in Business or related field recommended.
- CPSM/CIPS certification preferred.
- Experience in global, multicultural environments.
- Able to work collaboratively, virtually, and independently.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
