Main responsibilities
- Implement, manage standard packaging solutions (purchase, design, prototype, validation, etc.) and monitor budget follow‑up.
- Apply solutions to protect parts during all logistic operations (transport, unloading, storage, line feeding, etc.).
- Save money & cash (calculate Return on Investment, design standard packaging, reduce transport costs) and build business cases to justify any investment (returnable packaging, etc.).
- Collaborate with Regional Logistic Engineering to identify potential improvements in the whole value chain and capture added value.
- Reduce work labor time in the warehouse (picking, kitting hours) and in production.
- Collaborate with technical services to improve ergonomics at workstations (internal kitting trolley) and reduce waste packaging (zero unpacking).
- Manage the Project Supply Chain specifications and negotiate with the suppliers at site and project level.
- Design internal logistic processes and ensure that the parameters in ERP are correct (stock strategy, activity‑based costing classification, etc.).
- Align physical flow to system flow and improve stock accuracy in compliance with the standard process.
Operational activities
- Design packaging solutions (define flow, calculate batch size, optimize packaging costs, calculate ROI and logistic loop, create business case for returnable vs lost packaging).
- Manage packaging at all levels from business award to maintenance, including purchase order and budget monitoring.
- Define warehouse layouts, internal/external flows and storage policy (implement C‑class storage management, mirror area, visual management, Kanban flow, FIFO, FEFO, lean management).
- Participate in ABC classification and contribute to C‑class activity according to standard rules.
- Collaborate with Project Supply Chain Leader to review Procurement Gates by negotiating terms of Project Supply Chain Specification.
- Reduce logistic costs and build business cases (optimize packaging & transport costs, analyze milk‑run, calculate ROI).
- Implement Environment Health Safety (EHS) requirements for logistics: packaging solutions, warehouse process optimization, waste reduction & management.
- Optimize line feeding (design standard kitting trolley, warehouse & production line footprint and sequencing).
- Work closely with Operations, material planning, warehouse, procurement, manufacturing teams and ERP team.

Educational requirements
- Graduated from an engineering school or equivalent.
- Proficient in English (written and spoken).
Experience
- Experience in an industrial environment.
Desirable experience
- Knowledge of SAP (Warehouse Management and Inventory Management modules).
