Our client is a U.S. technology company that provides outsourcing and consulting services.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in one or multiple common programming languages for general development purposes, such as Java or Python .
- Hands-on involvement in aiding modern services and web applications within Linux and/or Windows environments.
- Continual motivation to acquire knowledge in emerging technologies like DevOps platforms, Kubernetes, Docker , and similar advancements.
- Past engagement in teamwork with Product, Test, DevOps, and Agile/Scrum teams.
- Familiarity with and proficiency in using the command line in Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
- Hands-on involvement in deploying, configuring, scaling, and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker .
- Understanding of production support procedures, including incident/change/problem management, call triaging, and escalation protocols. Capability to create and sustain automation tools for aiding engineering and production support activities.
- Providing customer support for escalated issues related to merchant applications, including challenges such as heightened latency, transactional issues, and features not functioning as intended.
- A mindset geared towards growth, characterized by curiosity and a passion for technologies, thriving on challenging projects with a global scope.
Responsibilities:
- Autonomously contributes to strategies aimed at enhancing the support and functionality of applications.
- Manages the support and stability of critical applications independently, requiring minimal guidance.
- Examines moderately complex performance issues in applications that pose a threat to functionality, applying knowledge and tools to validate assumptions.
- Assists in maintaining code and systems, while also influencing our internal standards to uphold scalability, security, and reusability.
- Engages in cross-functional collaboration to bolster top-tier systems and software solutions, contributing to site reliability and performance across various technical offerings.
- Actively participates in enhancing product quality, advancing service technology, and introducing new business flows within diverse agile squads.
- Assists in maintaining robust and scalable products designed for a diverse range of customers, including end-user merchants, B2B, and business-to-government solutions.
- Utilizes innovative technologies to support the next generation of Payment Services, Transaction Platforms, Real-Time Payments, and Buy Now Pay Later Technology.
- Sets a leadership example and provides informal mentoring to others, guiding them on best practices for configuring and troubleshooting software applications, systems, databases, and related devices.
