Requirements
- Design and build custom solutions when existing tools fall short
- Think critically about systems, scalability, and resilience
- Work cross-functionally with developers and product teams
- Potentially grow into Developer Experience (DevEx) roles in the future
Qualifications
- Strong Kubernetes experience – understanding how to deploy and maintain production‑grade clusters and workloads. Self-hosted is a bonus
- Infrastructure as Code – Pulumi (TypeScript), Terraform, Ansible. Comfortable building systems from the ground up
- CI/CD pipelines – debugging, improving, and automating them end-to-end
- Cloud platforms – deep experience in Azure (preferable), AWS or GCP will be fine too
- Infrastructure automation – reusable, scalable solutions. Pieces of software that fit into our ecosystem of automations that are primarily code
- Golang and/or Python – software engineering experience matters; scripting alone isn’t enough
- Proficiency in the English language (B2+/C1 level)
- Mindset – infrastructure problems are best solved by applying software engineering principles, not just simple bash scripts
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a regulated environment (ISO 27001, SOC2) and integrating security from day one
- Prior experience embedded with or supporting development teams as DevOps or SRE
- Broad understanding of system performance, observability, and incident response processes
