Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Location: Warsaw

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days/week in office)

About the Role

We’re looking for a talented and driven Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join cross-functional teams building and supporting global-scale software products. You’ll work with cutting-edge payment technologies and play a key role in shaping the future of digital transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of systems
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance performance and product quality
  • Troubleshoot applications, systems, and databases
  • Monitor system performance and manage incidents
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and production environments
  • Provide application and production support

Requirements

  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and debugging complex systems
  • Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and maintenance
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK, Grafana, and/or Prometheus
  • Experience working with Kafka or Cassandra
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash
  • Experience with tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or NewRelic
  • Experience with databases: Oracle, SQL Server, Impala, MySQL, NoSQL
  • Comfortable working in both Linux and Windows environments
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Experience with build tools like Jenkins, Maven, or Git
  • Strong collaboration skills in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services (banking, payments)
  • Comfortable in fast‑paced, evolving environments

  • Oversee the performance validation and engineering processes to ensure optimal system functionality.

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate performance engineering best practices.
  • Develop and maintain performance testing frameworks and tools.
  • Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement performance tuning and optimization strategies.
  • Ensure that all systems are scalable and can handle increased loads.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide recommendations for enhancements.
  • Work closely with the Asset Management Operations team to align system performance with business needs.
  • Develop and document performance engineering standards and guidelines.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve system performance.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in performance engineering best practices.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong background in Performance Validation and Performance Engineering.
