Job Title: Siemens Opcenter Execution Pharma (Simatic IT eBR) Functional Consultant
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Siemens Opcenter Execution Pharma (Simatic IT eBR) Functional Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with Business SMEs and Key Users to analyze and define requirements, collaborate with MES engineers to design and configure solutions, and ensure successful testing and documentation. You will also lead a functional team, manage task allocation, and report status to both Cognizant and customer leadership.
Key Responsibilities (100% of time)
- Gain a deep understanding of the manufacturing process.
- Design PIs (Process Instructions) according to site-specific requirements.
- Identify common processes across multiple manufacturing sites and design Global PIs suitable for reuse.
- Validate PIs to ensure compliance and functionality.
- Create required documentation, including URS, FRS, Design Specifications, Test Scripts, and others.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful system configuration and testing.
- Lead and guide team members, assigning tasks and ensuring deliverable quality.
- Provide regular status updates to Cognizant Management and Customer Management.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Extensive understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Strong experience in designing site-specific PIs.
- Ability to identify cross‑site process commonalities and design scalable Global PIs.
- Good knowledge of PI validation processes.
- Strong documentation skills, including the creation of URS, FRS, Design Specs, and Test Scripts.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders, MES engineers, and leadership teams.
- Strong leadership and task management abilities.
