Overview
Aeris Resources is seeking experienced Shot Firers and Charge Hands for Cracow Gold Operations in Central Queensland. This is a residential/DIDO/FIFO opportunity on a family-friendly roster.
Responsibilities
- Operate as an underground Shot Firer and/or Charge Hands, ensuring safe and efficient use, storage, preparation and setup of explosive charging equipment in line with regulatory requirements and underground works.
- Work under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor to support mining operations at Cracow Gold Operations.
- Adhere to safety policies, mine safety regulations and quality standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience operating as an underground Shot Firer and/or Charge Hands.
- Demonstrated underground mining experience.
- Current Queensland Shotfirers Licence & Dangerous Goods Card or ability to meet requirements and gain.
- Awareness of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.
- Self-motivated with a team-oriented approach.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Southeast and Central Queensland residents highly regarded.
