Base pay range

$30,000.00/yr – $45,000.00/yr

Adfix is a boutique, performance marketing agency helping ecommerce brands scale through paid media, retention marketing, and conversion‑focused creative. We are a lean, senior‑heavy team that values clarity, ownership, craftsmanship, and creating real business impact for the brands we work with. We partner with up‑and‑coming ecommerce brands to achieve sustainable growth through Google Ads, Meta Ads, Klaviyo, SMS, creative strategy, and Shopify improvements. We move fast, communicate clearly, and treat clients businesses as partners rather than projects.

The Role

As a Shopify Store Manager, you serve as the strategic owner of our clients Shopify stores and the connective tissue between growth strategy, execution, and client outcomes. You are responsible for translating business goals into a clear ecommerce roadmap, coordinating hands‑on store optimization, and ensuring marketing efforts across paid media, retention, and CRO are aligned to drive profitable growth. This role blends strategic thinking, operational execution, and client leadership. You are not just relaying information; you are actively shaping how stores perform and scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery conversations to understand business goals, challenges, budgets, and growth constraints.
  • Partner with clients to clarify priorities and success metrics.
  • Translate discovery insights into a clear internal brief and ecommerce roadmap.
  • Own the Shopify store strategy for assigned clients, aligned to revenue, conversion rate, AOV, and profitability goals.
  • Identify growth opportunities across site structure, merchandising, UX, offers, and funnels.
  • Translate business objectives into clear ecommerce priorities and execution plans.
  • Coordinate and contribute to Shopify improvements including UX updates, CRO initiatives, product page optimization, and site enhancements.
  • Work closely with designers, developers, and specialists to ensure changes are implemented correctly and efficiently.
  • Ensure best practices across themes, apps, collections, and product setups.
  • Act as the central point of coordination between paid media, retention, creative, and ecommerce initiatives.
  • Ensure marketing campaigns are supported by the right landing pages, site flows, and onsite experience.
  • Help align forecasting, budgets, and priorities with expected store performance and ROI.
  • Lead client conversations related to ecommerce performance, priorities, and roadmap.
  • Present insights, recommendations, and results clearly and confidently.
  • Ensure projects move forward smoothly, timelines are respected, and expectations are managed proactively.
  • Maintain optimized, structured, and continuously improving Shopify stores.
  • Ensure marketing efforts convert efficiently and support profitable growth.
  • Build client trust in strategy and execution, beyond reporting.
  • Provide internal teams with clarity, context, and direction.
  • Identify and resolve issues proactively.

Requirements

  • Hands‑on experience managing and optimizing Shopify stores.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce fundamentals including CRO, merchandising, and funnels.
  • Ability to think strategically while staying close to execution.
  • Experience working with or alongside paid media, retention, and creative teams.
  • Clear, confident client‑facing communication in English.
  • Organized, proactive, and comfortable owning outcomes from end to end.
  • Ability to work remotely with reliable internet access and tools.
