Job Summary

The Set Planning Analyst coordinates all steps within the Set deployment process, from demand collection to the deployment of implant and instrument sets in the designated markets. The role integrates data from Demand Planning, Product Marketing, Sales and Commercial Operations. Through the monthly Integrated Business Planning process, the analyst monitors and advises action plans to ensure accurate set forecasting, optimize asset ordering and transfers, and supports continuous improvement projects.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

  • Analyze set plans for the 36‑month rolling horizon to ensure the right investments are planned on the brands driving growth.
  • Monitor kit productivity and suggest changes to set forecast.
  • Optimize set planning by netting undeployed and unvalued stock available via automated tools.
  • Review alignment of set plans versus capex budget and suggest escalations where needed.
  • Prepare monthly management reports, identifying problems and recommending solutions that improve future demand plans.
  • Drive meetings with Comm.OPS, demand planning, sales and marketing teams to review plans and agree on actions within the Integrated Business Planning cycle.
  • Create purchase requisitions on SAP SOP to initiate shipment of goods from the main distribution center to the market warehouse.
  • Coordinate asset transfer processes when required.
  • Provide support on continuous improvement projects in addition to daily activities.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
  • Supply Chain experience with a good understanding of finance, sales and marketing processes.
  • Knowledge of loaner/consignment and set deployment processes within a medical devices company.
  • Experience with SAP‑SOP, SAP‑IBP, ERP, BW, Power BI is a plus.
