This role focuses on building strong client relationships and expanding automation and communication service footprint. **How you’ll make an impact:** - Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories and target markets for automation and communication service portfolio. - Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed individual and team sales quotas for service contracts, maintenance agreements, professional services, and other service-related solutions. - Conduct comprehensive needs assessments with potential and existing clients to understand their challenges and align Hitachi Energy service offerings as optimal solutions. - Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective customers. - Negotiate contract terms and conditions to secure profitable service agreements. - Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecast accuracy using CRM tools. - Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations. - Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., technical support, project management, product development) to ensure seamless service delivery and address customer concerns. - Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands related to service offerings. - Provide feedback to product and service development teams based on customer insights and market intelligence.**Your background:** - Highly preferred knowledge in area of protection relays and control systems. - Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in service sales, business development, or account management, preferably within the technology, industrial, or manufacturing sectors. - Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. - Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for pipeline management and reporting. - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on understanding customer needs. - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, Self-motivated, results-oriented, and highly organized. - Ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.We pride ourselves on offering a holistic range of competitive benefits to support your financial, physical and mental wellbeing and personal development.
