Your responsibilities Collaborate with development, testing, and operations teams to plan and schedule software releases, considering business priorities and dependencies. Act as the central point of contact for all release-related activities, coordinating tasks and communication among different teams. Maintain detailed records of release plans, configurations, and deployment procedures. Ensure that all necessary pre-release activities, such as testing, quality assurance, and user training, are completed. Implement and maintain a robust change control process to review, approve, and manage software release requests. Identify potential risks associated with releases and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and negative impacts. Oversee the deployment of software releases into the production environment, coordinating rollback plans in case of issues. Communicate with stakeholders, including end-users, IT teams, and management, regarding the status and impact of upcoming releases. Conduct post-release reviews to assess the success of the release, identify lessons learned, and recommend improvements. Identify opportunities for enhancing release management processes, automating tasks, and improving overall efficiency. Our requirements Proven experience in release management, ITSM, or a related role. Strong organizational and communication skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Familiarity with ITSM frameworks, such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library).
