Vanderlande is a global leader in automated parcel and postal handling, airport baggage handling systems, and integrated logistics solutions for warehouses and distribution centres. Currently we are looking for a B2B partner for a service engineer/team leader in Opoczno.

Service Engineer/Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated systems, including both electrical and mechanical components.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults on equipment such as cranes, shuttles, sorters and conveyors.
• Collaborate with local on-site teams to ensure maximum uptime and system reliability for customers.
• Work closely with the Service Desk/Hotline team to resolve incidents on Customer sites
• Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and site processes.
• Adhere to and promote an uncompromising safety culture in all maintenance activities.
• Assisting with project implementations and upgrades
• Leading small technical team/shift to deliver best service in daily operation

Requirements:

• An electro-mechanical aptitude, preferably combined with optional knowledge in industrial controls (PLC Siemens).
• Good reading, writing, and speaking skills in English language and Polish language. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Active driving licence category B.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time within Poland and across the CEE region in the 1st year (training process). The final full-time job as target is Opoczno (2027)
• Familiar with Microsoft Windows & Office.
• Vocational education in electromechanics, mechanics or electrics is a plus.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction
• Experience in teams leading and planning daily work based on targets and automation needs
